Dzongkhag Tshechu

I shall be more careful how use the word "spectacular" in future as today I have witnessed a true spectacle, our district's annual festival:














...yep, it is what it looks like: those masked monks are midair!

    Strangely- why were you the only one with the yellow cotton candy? Was it pepper flavour? Truly Amazing! Thank you for sharing this feast of color with those of us in the drab world.

  6. Most of the pictures are from a multi-hour dance showing the judgement and fate of sinners after death. The... thing... on the leash is the head of a boar. The cotton candy was orange in colour but tasted like standard pink. ~~Kendra
